_ **Overview of Things Learned** _

\*\*\*Technical Areas: \*\*\* Affinity diagrams, how to ask the right questions for interviews, personas, brainstorming/evaluating techniques, and information architecture  
_ **Tools:** _ Miro, Figma  
\*\*\*Soft Skills: \*\*\* Communication, Teamwork, Collaboration, Organization, Time Management

_ **Three Achievement Highlights** _

1. Completed brainstorming by creating “how might we” statements using pain points from affinity maps
2. Evaluated great ideas through dot voting and using the impact/feasibility graph
3. Sketched a low-fidelity prototype

_ **List of Meetings Attended:** _

- Meeting 9: Personas
- Meeting 10: Brainstorming
- Meeting 11: Evaluation and Information Architecture
- 6 to10 hours of sub-group meetings

\*\*\*Goals for the Following Week: \*\*\*

1. Complete Mid-Fidelity Prototype of Messaging System on Figma
2. Work on High-Fidelity Prototype of Messaging System on Figma

_ **Tasks and Hurdles:** _

**Affinity Diagram** – Completed two affinity diagrams for the navigation bar and messaging system based on the insights that were created based on the interviews we conducted the previous week.

**Personas** – We created two personas (male and female). These personas were possible users of STEM-Away, thus might use the navigation bar and messaging system.

**Brainstorming/Evaluation** – We created “how might we” statements using pain points from the affinity diagrams. Then, we created possible solutions to the HMW statements and through dot voting and impact-feasibility graph, we evaluated the best possible changes to the existing messaging system prototype.

**Sketching/Storyboarding** – Created a low-fidelity sketch of a prototype that incorporates

_Hurdles_: The biggest hurdle for each task was finding the best time for everyone to meet up. We solved this issue by making the sub-group meetings long, so we did not have to meet multiple times.

2. Final Presentation edits
3. Evaluation of prototype edits

Meetings Attended: All group meetings, east and center meetings

Goals: Finalizing our prototype and work on high fidelity prototype, finish presentation

Tasks and Hurdles: Worked on Low-Mid Fidelity Prototype and presentation
